VFD therapy（Next generation PRP）

VFD therapy is a treatment that extracts the growth factors contained in platelets extracted from autologous blood, renders them acellular, and then injects a freeze-dried PRP preparation.
Blood will be collected at our clinic, but as we use a blood-derived processing contract service and create PRP using special technology in a specialized laboratory, we are unable to accept treatments on the same day.
Injections should be waited at least 3 weeks after drawing blood.

Precautions after treatment

• After the treatment, we do not wipe off the PRP as it affects the effectiveness.
• After injection, the blood will solidify, making it difficult to style your hair.
  If you are concerned, we recommend that you bring a hat or something similar.
• There is no major recovery time, but a small needle mark will remain, so please be careful about your schedule after the treatment.
• Please refrain from drinking alcohol, bathing, saunas, or strenuous exercise on the day of your treatment.
• Please refrain from washing your hair with shampoo on the day of your treatment.
  There is no problem if you wash it off with warm water.
• Please refrain from coloring, perming, or scalp massage for one week before and after the treatment.
• Please refrain from intense sunburn before and after the treatment.
• Since treatment effects vary from person to person, we cannot guarantee a 100% hair growth effect.
• If you are not feeling well or depending on the condition of your blood, centrifugation may not work and PRP may not be produced, in which case you will need to collect blood again.

Risk and Side effect

• Since your own cells are injected, there is a low possibility of an allergic reaction, but in rare cases, swelling and redness may occur.
• It is not recommended if the hair roots have already disappeared, as no results can be expected.
• Since there are individual differences in the proliferation of cells around hair roots, it may be difficult to see results.
• The amount of bleeding varies from person to person, but there will be some bleeding.
• After injection, the injection site may remain red for several minutes to several hours.
  If a subcutaneous bleeding spot appears, it will get better in about a week, but applying ice will help minimize redness and swelling.
